About The Position

BGE, Inc. is a nationwide civil engineering consulting firm offering diverse career opportunities in a wide range of disciplines for public and private infrastructure projects. This role involves independently evaluating, selecting, and applying standard surveying techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications. The position requires planning, scheduling, conducting, or coordinating detailed phases of surveying work, performing work that involves conventional surveying practice but may include a variety of complex features. The Licensed Surveyor will direct conversations with clients at the beginning, during, and end of projects and is capable of supervising or coordinating the work of surveyors, technicians, and others who assist in specific assignments. The role also includes sealing professional surveying documents.

Requirements

• PLS Licensure/FDOT Precertification required
• 8 years of experience in Land Surveying
• Strong Computer Skills, working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation and Microsoft Office
• Prior experience with civil engineering projects preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of BGE employees, clients, and others

Responsibilities
