Requirements

  • Master’s degree in social work with license – either LSW or LPC required; LISW/LPCC/IMFT highly preferred.
  • Experience providing therapy/counseling required.
  • Ability to maintain thorough, timely, well documented treatment plans, case notes and intake summaries, illustrating caseload measurable treatment progress in computerized medical records system.
  • Must have working knowledge of mental illness, substance use disorders, psychiatric symptoms, and their impact on functioning and behavior of a diverse client population.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group counseling services consistent with professional standards, best practices and Concord’s policies.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address substance use and mental health disorders.
  • Apply clinical expertise within a multidisciplinary care model.
  • Assess risk and respond to crisis situations during office hours.
  • Provide services in-person and via telehealth, based on client needs.
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in an electronic medical record system.
  • Apply unique expertise and professional judgment in the application of Concord’s multidisciplinary approach to client treatment and peer supervision.
  • Lead a once-a-week evening AOD group.
