Licensed Substance Use Disorder Therapist/Counselor

Requirements
- Master’s degree in social work with license – either LSW or LPC required; LISW/LPCC/IMFT highly preferred.
- Experience providing therapy/counseling required.
- Ability to maintain thorough, timely, well documented treatment plans, case notes and intake summaries, illustrating caseload measurable treatment progress in computerized medical records system.
- Must have working knowledge of mental illness, substance use disorders, psychiatric symptoms, and their impact on functioning and behavior of a diverse client population.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling services consistent with professional standards, best practices and Concord’s policies.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address substance use and mental health disorders.
- Apply clinical expertise within a multidisciplinary care model.
- Assess risk and respond to crisis situations during office hours.
- Provide services in-person and via telehealth, based on client needs.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in an electronic medical record system.
- Apply unique expertise and professional judgment in the application of Concord’s multidisciplinary approach to client treatment and peer supervision.
- Lead a once-a-week evening AOD group.
