About The Position

Reliant Medical Group, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Substance Use Disorder Psychotherapist (LICSW or LMHC) to join their team in Worcester, MA. The Behavioral Health Provider will work directly with Primary Care providers in a fully integrated model, providing treatment using therapeutic intervention for patients with various behavioral health and psychological conditions of all acuity levels. This includes providing short-term therapy using evidence-based tools like cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing as part of treatment. The role involves providing care both in-person and via telehealth, with all necessary equipment provided. There are also possible opportunities to provide clinical supervision to early career clinicians.

Requirements

  • Clear, active and unrestricted license (LICSW, LMHC) in the state of Massachusetts

Nice To Haves

  • At least one year of experience with SUD and/or dual diagnoses patients
  • Experience with individual counseling
  • Experience running groups: educational, skills based and process groups
  • Knowledge of health psychology is preferred
  • Experience in CBT and motivational interviewing
  • Familiarity with local community resources

Responsibilities

  • Provide treatment for primary care patients for behavioral health disorders, symptoms and conditions including substance use disorders.
  • Enhance patient engagement by using evidenced based tools such as cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing.
  • Help implement treatment plans with site specific Integrated Clinician and regional Prescribers (Nurse Practitioners and Psychiatrists).
  • Provide care both in-person and via telehealth, with all necessary equipment provided.
  • Possible opportunities to provide clinical supervision to early careers clinicians.
