About The Position

We are currently seeking a Licensed Structural Design Engineer to lead and contribute to a diverse portfolio of structural projects. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of project phases, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with principals and external consultants. Requirements

• Licensed as a Structural Engineer (PE or SE) in California or eligible for reciprocity.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural design of residential and low-rise commercial buildings.
• Expertise with timber, concrete, steel, and masonry materials.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and engineering software such as ETABS and ADAPT.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Nice To Haves

• Experience managing project phases from conceptual design through construction.
• Previous experience mentoring junior engineers.
• Familiarity with Revit and Bluebeam is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop structural systems for buildings and structures using CAD and modeling software.
• Conduct structural analysis and calculations to ensure code compliance and safety.
• Prepare detailed construction documents and specifications.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and consultants.
• Mentor and support junior engineering staff.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and construction observation.
• Attend meetings with clients, contractors, and city agencies.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and budgets.
• Integrate new construction methods and technologies into your design work.
