About The Position
Adventist Health White Memorial Montebello, located in Montebello, is a 70-year-old healthcare facility comprising a 192-bed hospital, wound care medical office, and surgical and laboratory services. The greater Los Angeles area offers a rich cultural experience with its art, diverse communities, sports teams, and renowned dining. This role involves the operation, maintenance, and minor repair of all Central Plant equipment, including boilers, chillers, emergency generators, medical air compressors, vacuum pumps, water pumps, water softeners, cooling towers, and automation systems, ensuring the plant remains in optimal operating condition.
Requirements
- State-certified licensure as relevant to trade: Required
- Valid Driver's License (DL) and must be at least 21 years of age or older: Required
- L.A. City Engineer: Required in Los Angeles County
- Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS): Required
- Engineer (LMSC): Required
Nice To Haves
- High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
- Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
- Experience in a healthcare setting: Preferred
Responsibilities
- Monitors equipment condition to ensure functioning within operating standards.
- Schedules and performs minor maintenance to plant equipment.
- Coordinates work with other internal and external resources.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
