Requirements

Licensed/Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
First Aid
Athletic Training and Certification
Phlebotomy Certification (will train if necessary)
Bachelors Degree
1-2 years of previous job-related experience

Nice To Haves

Masters Degree OR equivalent training acquired via work experience or education
3-5 years of previous job-related experience

Responsibilities

Work in a clinical setting as a physician extender within a University Sports Medicine Program.
Patient evaluation, education, rehabilitation planning, vitals, phlebotomy, injections, injury prevention, treatment, and equipment fitting.
Supports physicians during outreach events and provides athletic training services to affiliated schools per NATA guidelines.
Contributes to program growth through marketing, educational material development, and wellness event coordination.
Ensures patient satisfaction, helps families navigate the system, and collaborates with program directors and providers.
