About The Position
This position requires an active Kentucky Speech Language Pathologist or applicant must have the necessary qualifications to earn license. Additionally, applicants must hold Certificate of Clinical Competence or be supervised as a Clinical Fellow prior to attaining CCCs. Applicants without licensure will not be considered. Licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Senior Living Community Location: Northeast Indianapolis, just south of Geist Reservoir. Schedule: Full-time at 30-40 hours per week Join a Team Where You're Truly Supported and Valued Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist [SLP] to join our multidisciplinary team at a thriving senior living community located on the northeast side of Indianapolis. In this role, you will work with a diverse population of residents, addressing their unique therapeutic needs to help them achieve greater independence and overall well-being. You'll be supported by a collaborative team, providing opportunities for both professional growth and meaningful impact on patients' lives.
Requirements
- Applicants must have active Indiana Speech Language Pathologist license or must have the necessary qualifications to earn Indiana license. These qualifications include a Master’s Degree in speech-language pathology, passing the Praxis II: Subject Assessment in Speech-Language Pathology exam, and fulfilling the state’s requirements for licensure.
- Additionally, applicants must hold Certificate of Clinical Competence or be supervised as a Clinical Fellow prior to attaining CCCs.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality speech and language therapy to residents in supportive environments.
- Support residents in achieving their therapeutic goals and improving mobility and overall quality of life.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient progress.
