About The Position
The University of Rochester is seeking Licensed Social Workers to join Strong Memorial Hospital. The Department of Social Work offers diverse career opportunities across multiple disciplines, including Behavioral Health, Adult, Pediatric, and Emergency areas. Social Workers in this role will assist patients in navigating the healthcare system, support the care planning process, and connect patients with necessary resources for post-care health. Requirements
- Master's degree from an accredited school of Social Work.
- Licensure as a Social Worker, as defined by the NYS Board for Social Work, is required.
- If licensure has not been obtained upon employment, the individual has 18 months within which to obtain it.
Responsibilities
- Aid patients in navigating the healthcare system.
- Support the care planning process.
- Connect patients to the resources they need to remain healthy after receiving care at Strong Memorial Hospital.
