NaphCare is currently hiring Licensed Mental Health Professionals (LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, LMHP, LISW, LPC, LPCC) for PRN shifts at the Hillsborough County Jail in Tampa, FL. Pay rates vary per hour based on the shift.

Requirements

Masters prepared Mental Health Professional with active, unrestricted licensure as a (LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, LMHP, LISW, LPC, LPCC) in Florida.
BLS Certification.

Nice To Haves

1 year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform and document mental health evaluations, progress notes, individual and group counseling notes and suicide watch notes.
Coordinate with healthcare and security staff regarding patients’ mental health care and release dates.
Participate in educational and training activities related to mental health care for patients, security personnel, and healthcare staff.
Demonstrate knowledge of DSM-V / DSM-V-TR criteria.
Perform and electronically document mental health evaluations, progress notes, individual and group counseling notes and suicide risk assessments.
Escalate patient needs to providers where appropriate.
