About The Position

Securitas is seeking a Licensed Security Officer to join their team. This role involves observing and reporting activities and incidents at assigned client sites, ensuring the security and safety of client property and personnel. The position requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to pass a drug screen and background check, and to meet and maintain any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard. The role may involve frequent sitting, standing, and walking for long periods, including climbing stairs and walking on uneven terrain. Physical requirements may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds. Requirements

1 year of security experience, law enforcement, or military experience.
Valid driver's license required.
Must have excellent Customer Service skills.
Must pass our drug screen and background check.
Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.
Ability to attend an unpaid 4-day training.
Must be ready to work immediately after training.

Nice To Haves

Active unarmed DCJS is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site.
Provides for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
Actively monitors the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations.
Preserves order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
Provides customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.
