About The Position

Effective School Solutions (ESS) is a leading provider of school-based mental health services for K–12 students, serving over 6,000 students across 12 states. ESS brings the level of clinical care typically found in private practice settings directly into public schools and has expanded its offerings to include a full continuum of clinical programming, professional development, and consultative services for districts. ESS is looking for a passionate, mission-aligned clinician to provide clinical services to a small group of students with significant behavioral and emotional needs within Public Schools. Clinicians can expect ongoing, multi-layered support from Regional Directors, clinical supervisors, and their school team, along with supervision hours toward licensure and robust training in evidence-based, school-focused interventions. The role offers a stable workload without intensive travel or unpredictable hours typical of family-based services.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience working with children or adolescents with behavioral or emotional challenges.
Licensed in social work (LMHC or LICSW) in the state of service.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Provide group, individual, and family therapy for students.
Deliver evidence-based interventions supporting emotional and academic stability.
Engage families through programming and parent support groups.
Coordinate care and referrals to appropriate services as needed.
Collaborate with school and ESS teams to support student success.
