Requirements

  • 1+ year of proven track record of delivering outstanding customer service while exceeding sales goals in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment.
  • Skills necessary to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
  • Valid ABO/NCLE and/or State license in the applicable State.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Schedule flexibility; work hours will be determined based on business needs.
  • Knowledgeable about MS Word, Google Docs.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and customers, identify their needs, and ensure an easy and memorable experience while promoting available products and services.
  • Assist patients and customers in choosing eyewear that fits their budget and eye care needs.
  • Troubleshoot and identify problems related to prescriptions to resolve customer complaints, diffuse unsatisfied patients, and provide solutions.
  • Attain sales goals while complying with company and local policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to quality control standards, including OSHA and other safety requirements.
  • Ensure brand standards are met by performing basic housekeeping duties.
  • Measure, fit, and adapt lenses and frames for clients, both onsite and virtually, according to written optical prescriptions.
  • Determine lens specifications and make minor repairs or adjustments to eyewear.
  • Perform onsite or virtual sign-off of jobs after confirming power ranges and specific lens measurements.
  • Examine written prescriptions to determine lens specifications and verify that lenses have been ground to specifications.
  • Execute simple customer repairs, assemble lenses into frames, and edge stock lenses.
  • Ensure customer orders are delivered accurately and on time.
  • Ensure brand standards are met in the lab area and notify management of equipment malfunctions, incomplete orders, or incorrect lenses.
  • Keep track of delivery time commitments to patients to ensure 100% compliance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and required.
