As a Licensed Residential Install Electrician, your primary responsibility will be installing electrical systems in residential settings. You will work on projects such as panel upgrades, full-home wiring, generator and EV charger installations, and other residential electrical installations. This role is ideal for someone who excels in hands-on work, enjoys structured installation projects, and values doing the job right the first time.
Requirements
- MA Journeyman or Master Electrician License required.
- This is not an entry-level position —prior hands-on experience with residential electrical installations is essential.
- Minimum 2 years of residential installation experience preferred.
- Solid knowledge of NEC and residential wiring practices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Able to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in crawl spaces or attics as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Install new electrical systems, including panels, circuits, lighting, and specialty equipment in residential homes.
- Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings to ensure accurate and code-compliant installations.
- Coordinate with project managers and other trades to ensure smooth job site execution.
- Ensure work meets NEC standards and local building codes.
- Use appropriate tools, materials, and safety protocols to complete installations efficiently and professionally.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site.
