Performs various diagnostic radiographic images. Use radiation safety measure and protection device to ensure safety of patient and team member. Operate radiologic equipment including Portable Machine for diagnostic purposes. Ensure radiologic equipment works properly. Report any equipment malfunctions to the manager. Follow precise procedure for exposure, positioning and safety of the patient. Assure proper quality of images for each radiological procedure. Position patient according to radiologist protocols. Transport and operates portable x -ray equipment. Properly identifies patients using hospital protocols. Maintains required CE'S as needed for licensure. Operate all x -ray equipment, computer, phones and fax machines. <\/span>Other duties as assigned.<\/span><\/span> <\/p> PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES:<\/span><\/u><\/b> <\/p> 1 -2 years of experience, preferred, new graduate may be considered. <\/span>Routine, stat, portable imaging, and fluoroscopic examination experience is preferred. <\/span>Strong knowledge of Radiation safety, ALARA principles, patient positioning and anatomy. <\/span>Experience with PACS system and Meditech preferred. <\/span>Excellent patient care, communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of the Radiology team. <\/span>Flexibility to participate in on call schedule for the department. <\/span><\/span> <\/p> <\/div><\/span>
