About The Position

Assists radiologists and primary physicians by obtaining the best possible radiographs for interpretation. Maintains responsibility for accurately and responsively performing routine assigned clinical tasks of limited complexity. Practices within current laws and statutes as designated by both the hospital and state regulations. Works under the supervision of more experienced staff. Makes decisions regarding own work, often limited and confined to routine matters. Elevates questions, problems and significant challenges to more senior staff for direction. Works under direct supervision or within defined parameters. Acts as a competent clinician who provides clinical care in a skilled and effective manner, utilizing appropriate technical and decision-making skills. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Education/GED or equivalent: Required
• Must successfully complete American Registry of Radiologic Technologist examination as a licensed technologist within 12-months of hire date: Required
• Current State license as a diagnostic radiologic technologist: Required in CA and HI
• Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
• Facility Specific License/Certifications: AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS: Required
• State Radiologic Tech (RT): Required
