Requirements

  • Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology or Developmental Psychology (Psy.D. or Ph.D.) with specific training in assessment of pediatric and adolescent neurodevelopmental disorders, including specific learning disorders, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and intellectual disability.
  • Ability to maintain clean background/drug screenings and driving record.
  • Prior training experience with assessment/administration/scoring/interpreting of Neuropsychological Tests required.
  • Experience administering measures/tests of Intellectual Functioning, Development, Autism Spectrum Disorder including the ADOS-2, Social Communication, and Emotional and Behavioral Functioning.
  • English proficiency required.
  • Maintain an active license and good standing with the state board of psychology.
  • Comply with ABA Center’s of America’s ’s HIPAA privacy and security policies.

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Completing psychological/neuropsychological testing.
  • Reviewing and signing reports.
  • Conducting supervision and training of all Psychometrists in the region/state.
  • Providing comprehensive neuropsychological, psychological and/or psychoeducational evaluations of clients with referral concerns related to learning, behavioral, emotional, and/or social difficulties.
  • Providing written and oral feedback to clients regarding evaluation results, diagnostic impressions, and recommendations.
  • Conducting in-person and/or virtual comprehensive neuropsychological, psychological and/or psychoeducational evaluations.
  • Providing feedback sessions with the patient (or their legal guardian) following evaluation.
  • Compiling a written report detailing evaluation findings, diagnosis(es), and recommendations.
  • Ensuring written documentation is completed and uploaded in a timely manner per departmental policy.
  • Providing direct Supervision (Individual/Group) and Training of Neuropsychological Testing/Assessment to “Diagnostic Specialists” (Psychometrists/Technicians).
  • Actively seeking out supervision when needed.
  • Remaining current within the field of psychology and seeking opportunities for continuing education related to psychological/neuropsychological testing of pediatric patients.
  • Participating in weekly Regional Clinical Training Meetings including presenting at Weekly Psychology Assessment Didactic Seminars (PADS).
  • Maintaining an active license and good standing with the state board of psychology.
  • Complying with ABA Center’s of America’s HIPAA privacy and security policies.
  • Collaborating with all other team members to facilitate realization of the mission of ABA Centers of America, including attending routine departmental and general staff meetings.
