About The Position

DTAC Paragon is seeking a Licensed Psychologist to provide high-quality outpatient behavioral health services to children, adolescents, adults, and families. This position is responsible for conducting psychological evaluations, assessments, diagnostic testing, individual and family therapy, treatment planning, and crisis intervention services as clinically appropriate. The Psychologist will collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams to ensure excellent clinical outcomes while maintaining compliance with regulatory, ethical, and organizational standards. Bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly preferred to support the diverse needs of our client population. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical judgment, experience with psychological testing and assessments, and a commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology
  • Active, unrestricted Psychologist License in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain credentialing with commercial insurance carriers and other payors.
  • Current professional liability insurance or ability to obtain coverage, if required.
  • Successful completion of all required background checks, clearances, and credential verification.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation if travel between locations is required.
  • Adherence to all DTAC Paragon policies, procedures, compliance standards, and confidentiality requirements.
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
  • Knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
  • Competency in psychological testing administration, interpretation, and report writing.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to establish therapeutic rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Commitment to ethical clinical practice, cultural competency, and trauma-informed care.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual Spanish language proficiency strongly preferred.
  • Additional licensure in New York or other states is a plus.
  • Minimum three (3) years of behavioral health or clinical psychology experience preferred.
  • Experience providing outpatient therapy services.
  • Experience administering and interpreting psychological testing and assessments strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families preferred.
  • Experience delivering telehealth services is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
  • Administer, score, interpret, and document psychological and behavioral health testing.
  • Develop accurate diagnoses and individualized treatment recommendations.
  • Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy services utilizing evidence-based treatment approaches.
  • Create, implement, and update treatment plans based on clinical needs and treatment goals.
  • Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation, including assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
  • Provide crisis assessment, intervention, and stabilization services as clinically necessary.
  • Maintain a clinically appropriate caseload while ensuring quality care and positive client outcomes.
  • Re-engage clients who miss scheduled services and document outreach efforts in accordance with organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, case managers, schools, healthcare providers, and community partners to coordinate care.
  • Participate in clinical supervision, multidisciplinary team meetings, case consultations, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA, state regulations, professional ethics, and DTAC Paragon policies and procedures.
  • Provide telehealth services when clinically appropriate and permissible under licensing regulations.
  • Support the development and implementation of best practices to improve client care and organizational outcomes.
  • May provide supervision, training, or consultation to doctoral interns, practicum students, or clinical staff as assigned.
