About The Position
The IMA Group is seeking a Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) to conduct objective psychological disability evaluations in Virginia Beach. This flexible, one-day-per-week opportunity is ideal for a psychologist who enjoys assessment and testing without the demands of ongoing therapy or treatment. The role involves conducting psychological disability evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults, administering and interpreting psychological and cognitive testing, preparing thorough, objective, and timely evaluation reports, and maintaining compliance with clinical and regulatory requirements. IMA Group's Government Services Division supports local, state, and federal agencies by providing objective medical and psychological disability evaluations. Their Payer Services Division partners with carriers, employers, TPAs, and public entities to deliver independent medical and behavioral health assessments. Their Clinical Research Division conducts Phase II-IV clinical trials through a nationwide network of research sites and virtual capabilities.
Requirements
- Active Virginia Psychologist license
- PhD or PsyD in Psychology
- Private office in the Virginia Beach area
- Experience conducting psychological evaluations and administering psychological testing
- Strong clinical assessment and report-writing skills
- Comfortable evaluating pediatric and adult populations
Responsibilities
