About The Position

CEC Healthcare, part of the Charles Evans Center, is a respected not-for-profit healthcare organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of our community. We provide compassionate, person-centered care and are committed to helping individuals access the services and support they need to thrive. We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist to join our team on a part-time basis to conduct psychological evaluations and assessments. This is an excellent opportunity for a psychologist who enjoys testing, report writing, and making a meaningful impact through diagnostic and eligibility evaluations. In this role, you will conduct psychological testing and prepare comprehensive evaluation reports that help individuals qualify for important state and federal programs and services. Your expertise will directly support patients and families in accessing critical resources that can improve their quality of life.

Requirements

Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution.
Current New York State Psychologist License.
Strong clinical writing, analytical, and diagnostic skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

Nice To Haves

Experience conducting psychological testing and assessments preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct psychological assessments, testing, and evaluations.
Assess cognitive, adaptive, and behavioral functioning.
Prepare clear, thorough, and timely psychological evaluation reports.
Provide diagnostic impressions and recommendations when appropriate.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare providers to support coordinated patient care.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with organizational, state, and regulatory requirements.
Stay current with best practices in psychological assessment and applicable regulations.
