About The Position

Ellie Mental Health is expanding in the Capital Region, establishing a therapist-centered practice focused on clinician well-being and making therapy and assessment services accessible, authentic, and stigma-free. This locally owned and operated practice seeks a thoughtful, collaborative psychologist experienced in assessment work to join a values-driven, supportive team. The role offers flexibility, support, and resources, removing the burden of practice management for clinicians.

Requirements

• PhD in Psychology
• Licensed Psychologist (or license-eligible) in New York
• Experience with psychological testing, interpretation, and report writing
• Comfort working with diverse populations from an affirming, inclusive lens
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• A sense of humor and a team-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and/or family therapy using evidence-based and creative interventions
• Create treatment plans, and maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Conduct psychological and diagnostic evaluations
• Score, interpret, and write clear, client-friendly assessment reports
• Provide feedback sessions and clinical recommendations
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
• (Optional) Provide supervision to trainees or associates
