About The Position

Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a Licensed Psychologist for a full-time role in Leavenworth, Kansas within an institutional setting. This position involves providing psychological services within a correctional facility, coordinating and directing psychological service programs, and working as part of a multidisciplinary mental health team.

Requirements

• Doctoral degree in Psychology REQUIRED
• Current, unrestricted license to practice psychology REQUIRED
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience REQUIRED
• At least 1 year in a comparable position REQUIRED
• Valid driver’s license REQUIRED
• Must be at least 21 years of age

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological screenings and assessments
• Perform clinical interviews and evaluate patient needs
• Develop, implement, and modify treatment plans
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention services
• Conduct rounds in segregation and confined housing areas
• Collaborate with psychiatry, nursing, and clinical staff
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies
