About The Position

M&T Enterprises is seeking a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to lead the creation and growth of a new in‑house survey division. This is a unique opportunity for a driven professional who wants autonomy, leadership responsibility, and the ability to build something from the ground up. The Professional Land Surveyor will be responsible for managing all aspects of survey operations, from project setup to field execution. This role is ideal for a self‑motivated, hands‑on surveyor who is comfortable working independently and taking ownership of both office and field responsibilities.

Requirements

• Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in applicable state
• Strong experience in construction staking and boundary surveys
• Proficient with survey equipment and data collection methods
• Ability to work independently and manage projects from start to finish
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills
• Willingness to perform hands‑on fieldwork as needed
• Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug tests

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage a new survey division within M&T Enterprises
• Set, manage, and verify control and stake points
• Perform construction staking and as‑built surveys
• Install and verify survey monuments
• Manage fieldwork, equipment, and survey workflows
• Ensure compliance with state and local surveying standards
• Coordinate directly with project managers, contractors, and clients
