About The Position

Universal Technical Resource Services, Inc. (UTRS) is seeking a NJ licensed Surveyor to join their team. UTRS provides a wide range of engineering, management, and digital services to public and private sectors. The company is looking for a candidate to support their mission of delivering creative, high-quality, technology-based services. The ideal candidate will be a NJ licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) with experience in boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and construction surveying. This role is primarily in-office with occasional field coordination. The candidate will work with and direct the Survey team, as well as support in-house Engineering Departments. Excellent communication skills are required for client interaction, budget preparation, proposal writing, and project management. The office is located in Washington, New Jersey.

Requirements

• NJ licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS)
• +4 years’ experience in boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS and construction surveying
• Proficiency with Total Station
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Ability to manage and assist field crew
• Ability to prioritize and multitask with respect to projects, CAD/computer standards, etc.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft products (Explorer, Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to work as a team player
• Possess organizational and communication skills

• Prepare preliminary and final plats, legal descriptions, exhibits
• Perform construction stake out and calculations
• Perform boundary, ALTA and topo surveys
