Requirements
- Possession of an active license as a professional geologist issued by the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists.
- Possession of an active Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent.
- Ability to perform essential job functions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct site inspections, gather groundwater data, and document local geologic conditions
- Evaluate hydrogeological information, interpret maps and logs, and prepare clear technical reports
- Assess environmental proposals and groundwater studies to determine accuracy and compliance
- Address groundwater and stray gas concerns, as well as contribute to decisions regarding remediation needs
- Provide expertise to staff, management, and the public regarding groundwater issues and regulatory requirements
