About The Position

Ozarks Community Hospital (OCH) is seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) for its Behavioral Health Evergreen Clinic in Decatur, AR. The hospital's mission is to provide exceptional healthcare and preventive services with compassion, respect, and dignity, focusing on the underserved and improving access to care. The LPC will offer comprehensive mental health services to individuals and families facing mental health and addiction issues, including medical and psychosocial crises. A caring, friendly, personal, and professional approach is expected. Services include group work, supportive therapy, discharge planning, and casework.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work from a C.S.W.E. accredited school.
• Active LPC Licensure within the state of practice.
• Must hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross. Recertification required before expiration throughout employment.

Nice To Haves

• Three years previous experience in psychiatric/medical social work.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive mental health services to individuals and their families experiencing mental health and addiction issues.
• Address blended medical and psychosocial crises precipitated by illness, medical procedures, or subsequent developments through intensive outpatient services.
• Engage in group work, supportive therapy, discharge planning, and casework services.
• Maintain a caring, friendly, personal, and professional approach in all interactions.
