About The Position

A full-time opportunity is available for a Virginia Licensed Professional Counselor who wants to provide therapy through a fully remote model. The LPC in this role will work directly with clients through virtual sessions, helping them understand patterns, manage symptoms, build coping tools, and move toward healthier daily functioning. The work is centered on real clinical care: listening well, asking the right questions, creating practical treatment goals, and helping clients make progress over time. This position is ideal for a counselor who values consistency, professional structure, and quality client care.

Requirements

Active Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC license in Virginia
Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field
Experience providing counseling or psychotherapy to adults, families, or individuals
Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems
Strong written documentation skills
Ability to work independently in a remote clinical environment
Must be able to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality in virtual care

Responsibilities

Conduct scheduled virtual therapy sessions with clients
Complete psychosocial evaluations and clinical intake notes
Identify client needs and create treatment goals that are realistic and measurable
Provide counseling for common mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, adjustment issues, and emotional regulation
Keep client records current and compliant with documentation standards
Review client progress and update treatment plans as needed
Maintain a professional and secure remote therapy environment
Communicate clearly with clients regarding treatment expectations, goals, and follow-up care
Practice within Virginia counseling regulations and telehealth standards
