About the Role Job Summary: The Behavioral Health Specialist will provide mental health services, including counseling and support, to participants of the PACE program. This role is responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and provision of therapeutic services for participants, working within an interdisciplinary care team. The Behavioral Health Specialist will help participants maintain their independence and quality of life by addressing mental health concerns that may impact their overall well-being.

Requirements

Master’s degree in psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related field.
Must hold an active and valid license in the state of employment: LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
Minimum of 2 years of experience providing mental health services, preferably with older adults, underserved populations, or in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

Provide mental health services, including counseling and support, to participants of the PACE program.
Responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and provision of therapeutic services for participants.
Work within an interdisciplinary care team.
Help participants maintain their independence and quality of life by addressing mental health concerns that may impact their overall well-being.
