About The Position
Behavioral Health Services is hiring Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs) to join our clinician-led, APA-approved behavioral health team. Since 1995, CHE has been a national leader in adult and geriatric mental health, serving 100,000+ patients across 800+ facilities in 11+ states.
Requirements
- Master’s degree
- Active LPC license
- We do not accept associate or limited licenses.

Responsibilities
- Review your schedule, checking for new referrals, and noting any changes in residents’ conditions
- Meet with residents throughout the day for brief, focused therapy sessions (support, coping skills, mood, adjustment)
- Complete initial assessments and update treatment plans for new or ongoing resident
- Collaborate with nurses, rehab staff, and providers to discuss care needs and any behavioral concerns
- Document sessions, treatment plans, and required notes to meet compliance and billing standards
- Connect with family members when needed and plan your schedule and follow-ups for the next day
