About The Position

Pediatric Partners, a part of the Sevita family, provides comprehensive in-home and clinic-based therapeutic services for infants, children, and young adults. Our teams of compassionate pediatric experts help children with medically complex, developmental, behavioral, educational, or other needs learn the skills they need to thrive. We offer physical, occupational, speech-language and feeding therapy; augmentative and alternative communication; mental health counseling, applied behavior analysis, and early intervention services. We’re looking for a Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join Pediatric Partners’ team of dedicated pediatric professionals. As a Mental Health Therapist at Pediatric Partners, you’ll bring your clinical expertise to a supportive, team-based environment that prioritizes people, purpose, and high-quality care. In this role, you’ll provide counseling services using a variety of therapeutic approaches, including psychoeducational and medical/illness-based assessment and diagnostic models, tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual and family. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a human services field such as Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience supporting individuals, children, or families
  • Active licensure required ( LPCC)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience or training in one or more of the following approaches is a plus: PCIT or Child–Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), EMDR, Trauma-Focused CBT, Trauma-Informed or Child-Centered Play Therapy
  • Self-directed and well-organized, with the ability to manage priorities in a clinical setting
  • Strong communication skills and clear, thoughtful documentation
  • A warm, empathetic approach that helps build trust and meaningful therapeutic relationships
  • Ability to remain calm, grounded, and professional when navigating complex or sensitive situations

Responsibilities

  • Provide counseling for individuals and families using a variety of therapeutic approaches.
  • Support clients dealing with depression, addiction, stress, self-esteem issues, and relationship concerns.
  • Offer guidance for parenting and vocational challenges as needed.
  • Conduct assessments of mental status, personality, behavior, and family dynamics.
  • Deliver individual therapy, family therapy, and group sessions tailored to client needs.
  • Collaborate with a transdisciplinary team to create and implement treatment plans.
  • Communicate with staff, insurance providers, and families about client progress.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation and service summaries.
  • Participate in team meetings, supervision, and professional development opportunities.
  • Contribute to crisis intervention efforts when needed.
