About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse acts as the key communication contact between management, residents and their families as well as contributing to patient care and safety. They play a critical role in ensuring the well-being of residents, monitoring their conditions, and providing compassionate and skilled care. Requirements
- At least 1 years’ experience in working with seniors
- Demonstrated excellence in dementia care and interpersonal skills
- Completion of an accredited License Practical Nurse education program
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the provincial College of Licensed Practical Nurses
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider
- Produce a clear Vulnerable Record Search prior to starting work
- Union membership is a condition of employment
