About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse acts as the key communication contact between management, residents and their families as well as contributing to patient care and safety. They play a critical role in ensuring the well-being of residents, monitoring their conditions, and providing compassionate and skilled care. Requirements

  • At least 1 years’ experience in working with seniors
  • Demonstrated excellence in dementia care and interpersonal skills
  • Completion of an accredited License Practical Nurse education program
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the provincial College of Licensed Practical Nurses
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider
  • Produce a clear Vulnerable Record Search prior to starting work
  • Union membership is a condition of employment
