About The Position

Ascension is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for their OB/GYN Clinic at Bartlesville Medical Park in Bartlesville, OK. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm. The LPN will play a crucial role in enhancing patient care, improving clinic efficiency, facilitating communication between patients and providers, and ensuring safety and infection control protocols are strictly followed.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• OK or KS state licensure required relevant to where the employee works.
• Knowledge and skill in writing prescriptions for the Physician as needed.
• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient intakes.
• Assist with specialized in-office OB/GYN procedures.
• Provide education on medications, prevention, and post-op care.
• Handle room turnover, instrument sterilization, and supply restocking.
• Act as a liaison, relaying information between patients and providers.
• Manage documentation.
• Assist with scheduling and triage.
• Enforce strict sanitization protocols.
• Maintain high standards for handling scopes and equipment.
