This is a full-time position with rotating shifts (Day/Evening/Night), including weekends and holidays per unit policy. The position offers exposure to a variety of medical and surgical specialties, allowing you to develop a diversified skill base. Requires the ability to work independently and demonstrate strong prioritization skills. The LPN must be able to critically think and be able to respond and communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities

  • In an inpatient setting, remains accountable for provision of direct care to assigned patients.
  • Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system.
  • Works as a team member and assists other staff members with implementing patient care.
  • Assumes responsibility of care for assigned patients under the direction of the co-assigned RN or MD.
  • Participates in the plan of care, implements appropriate nursing interventions, and contributes to patient/family education through collection of data, interdisciplinary team collaboration, documentation and excellent communication.
