About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring clinical competence within the scope of practice and in accordance with state requirements. In collaboration with the healthcare team and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LPN helps maintain safety, provide patient comfort and care, and improve the overall patient experience across a variety of patient care units. This is a full-time day-shift role in the Float Pool at Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, Illinois.

Requirements

• Current and valid state license.
• Current BLS (AHA or ARC) certificate upon hire and maintained thereafter.
• IV certification upon hire, as required by state.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of one year of acute care nursing experience is preferred.
• Current ACLS (AHA or ARC) certificate is preferred, or it must be obtained within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities
