About The Position
Elm Crest Senior Living is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their nursing team. Position options include Full-Time Nights (6:00 PM to 6:00 AM) and PRN/On-Call shifts, with opportunities to pick up additional hours to create part-time or full-time schedules.
Requirements
- Current LPN license in Iowa or an active multistate LPN license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program
- Ability to effectively communicate in English with residents, families, physicians, and team members
Nice To Haves
- Previous long-term care, rehabilitation, or senior living experience
- Recent nursing graduates are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Delivering skilled nursing care in accordance with resident care plans
- Monitoring resident conditions and reporting changes appropriately
- Assisting with assessments and care plan development
- Administering treatments and nursing interventions
- Partnering with families and interdisciplinary team members to promote positive outcomes
- Supporting the physical, emotional, and social well-being of residents
