About The Position
Diversified Treatment Alternative Centers (DTAC) is seeking compassionate, dependable Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our Residential Treatment Facility (RTF) in Columbus, Ohio. This program serves male adolescents ages 8-18 who require a structured, trauma-informed therapeutic environment to address behavioral health, emotional, and psychiatric needs. As an LPN, you will play an essential role in supporting resident health, safety, and treatment success through medication administration, health monitoring, crisis response, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary treatment team. Requirements
- Active Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
- Current CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts
- Ability to pass required background clearances

Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders and agency policies
- Complete medication passes and maintain accurate Medication Administration Records (MARs)
- Monitor residents for medication effectiveness, side effects, and adverse reactions
- Coordinate medication refills and communicate with pharmacies and providers
- Monitor resident health status through observation, vital signs, and nursing assessments within scope of practice
- Respond appropriately to medical and behavioral health concerns
- Report significant changes in condition to the appropriate medical provider
- Maintain timely and accurate nursing documentation
- Collaborate with therapists, case managers, psychiatry, nursing leadership, and direct care staff
- Participate in shift reports, treatment team meetings, and care coordination activities
- Promote a safe, structured, and trauma-informed environment for adolescents
- Support compliance with agency policies and regulatory requirements
