About The Position
UBMD Obstetrics & Gynecology is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our gynecology team. This position supports physicians and advanced practice providers in delivering compassionate, efficient care to patients across the lifespan.
Requirements
- Active New York State LPN license
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
Responsibilities
- Assist providers with patient intake, clinical assessments, and procedures
- Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and screening information
- Prepare exam rooms and assist with gynecologic exams and minor procedures
- Track labs, diagnostic tests, and clinical documentation
- Manage patient phone calls and messages in accordance with training and protocols
- Complete EMR tasks and maintain accurate, confidential patient records
- Support general clinical operations and patient flow
