Licensed Practical Nurse - Urological Surgeons
About The Position
BayCare Clinic Urological Surgeons is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join their team in Green Bay. This role is for a compassionate, thoughtful candidate who wants to contribute to a positive experience for all patients. The typical hours for this role are Monday-Friday from 8:00am - 4:30pm. No Holidays! No Weekends! BayCare Clinic is a physician-owned entity with joint ownership in Aurora BayCare Medical Center. Our primary location in Green Bay is a modern facility with aesthetic treatment rooms and dedicated procedure rooms. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program or Vocational Nursing program.
- Must hold a valid LPN license to practice in the state where practice occurs.
- Must be computer literate.
Nice To Haves
- 6 months – 1 year related experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Performs patient treatments as ordered by the physician.
- Collects and documents patient information in a thorough and consistent manner.
- Under the direction of a professional nurse, participates in executing the plan of care as established by the nurse, doctor, or physician assistant.
- Assists in collecting vital sign information.
- Provides appropriate teaching materials, and assists in providing accurate answers to questions, all in support of patient and family.
- Assists in the performance of any physician ordered pre-operative treatment/tests as well as the pre-operative preparation of the patient.
- Assists in the post-operative execution of physician orders.
- Respects and maintains confidentiality.
