About The Position
Wilson Care, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility in Chicago's North Side, has an immediate opening for a Licensed Practical Nurse for weekend shifts. The facility is dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals affected by chronic psychiatric disorders, offering care in a residential, homelike setting. They are looking for individuals who share a passion for providing uncompromising excellence in psychiatric patient care and wish to make a lasting impact on a special population, while also striving for individual professional development.
Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Licensed in the State of Illinois
- Nursing Experience in Long-Term Care, preferable a residential Mental Health facility
- Able to work independently
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards
- Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding for adults with psychiatric disorders
Nice To Haves
- Nursing experience, preferably in a Mental Health Setting.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the coordination and delivery of psychiatric patient care and the application of the nursing process
- Administer medication and maintain narcotics report (RN)
- Supervise and lead RSAs and ensure the shift is fully staffed
Benefits
- $36-$38 per hour, depending upon benefits selected
