About The Position

Pinnacle Treatment Centers is a growing provider of addiction treatment services, serving more than 35,000 patients daily. Its mission is to remove barriers to recovery and help individuals, families, and communities through effective treatment. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a direct role in supporting patients and residents in a safe environment that promotes long-term recovery. The LPN partners with the Nursing Supervisor and Executive Director to establish and maintain a therapeutic environment and routine for residents.

Requirements

• Hold a Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of employment.
• Be comfortable working independently with the population when needed.
• Comply with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) program protocols.

Responsibilities

• Administer or dispense medication under the direction of a physician.
• Ensure the physician’s or Medical Director’s treatment plan is followed.
• Give and interpret Mantoux tests.
• Complete blood draws.
• Assist with training staff on medical, health, and safety matters and help maintain medical equipment properly.
• Provide staff development training on healthcare needs, such as CPR, First Aid, and blood pressure.
• Educate clients about methadone maintenance, detoxification, side effects, lab results, and other medical matters.
• Educate pregnant patients about prenatal care and assist the primary counselor in coordinating outside services as needed.
• Perform other duties as needed.
