Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
About The Position
Affirmed Home Care is hiring experienced Licensed Practical Nurses for per diem home care assignments throughout Bergen County, New Jersey. Nurses provide personalized, one-on-one care in patients’ homes for a private-pay home care agency. Specialized assignments are located in Elmwood Park, Hackensack, Rochelle Park, Ridgefield, and surrounding Bergen County communities, and require ventilator and tracheostomy care experience. Assignments are based on patient needs and nurse availability. Pay is $45 per hour for nursing shifts or $85 per LPN visit. Weekday, weekend, day, and overnight availability is sought.
Requirements
- Active New Jersey LPN license.
- At least 1 year of recent nursing experience in an acute care or home care setting.
- Ventilator and tracheostomy care experience.
- Current BLS certification.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Physical examination completed within the past 12 months.
- PPD or QuantiFERON completed within the past 12 months, or chest X-ray within the past 5 years.
- Proof of flu vaccination or an approved medical exemption.
