About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is a non-profit organization that has been in operation for 50 years. They offer stability and a home-grown leadership team. This role involves one-to-one client care in a home setting, providing nurses with flexible schedules and supportive management. The position is for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Minnesota, focusing on private duty nursing where nurses care for a single client for the entire shift. Common diagnoses encountered include TBI, SCI, COPD, Stroke, Dementia/Alzheimer's, Premature Birth, Cancer, and surgery recovery. LPNs/LVNs with experience in hospitals, long-term care, and schools are well-suited for this role.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state.
- Directly transferable skills from working in hospitals, long-term care, and schools are well-equipped to handle one client in the home.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one client care in a home setting.
- Work with local clients nearby with short commutes.
- Care for clients with common diagnoses such as TBI, SCI, COPD, Stroke, Dementia/Alzheimer's, Premature Birth, Cancer, and surgery recovery.
