About The Position

Recovery Centers of America (RCA) is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their dedicated team. The LPN will provide evidence-based care to individuals on their path to recovery from substance use disorders. This role involves monitoring patient health, administering medications, collaborating with the clinical team, educating patients and families, documenting progress, and maintaining a safe environment that supports recovery.

Requirements

• Active New Jersey LPN license.
• Current BLS certification (or willingness to obtain during orientation).
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills to provide high-quality patient care.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, or detox services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient health by checking vital signs, observing behavioral changes, and tracking responses to treatment.
• Administer medications safely according to prescribed plans.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and the clinical team to deliver integrated care.
• Educate patients and families on recovery strategies and self-care practices.
• Document patient progress accurately in medical records.
• Maintain a safe and structured environment that supports recovery and well-being.
