About The Position
Avenues Recovery Center is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for the day shift (7am - 7pm) at their Covington, LA location. Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehab centers dedicated to providing evidence-based clinical care and individualized treatment. They offer a range of programs including detox, residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient services. Requirements
- Minimum one year diploma program post-high school
- Current licensure necessary to practice in-state, or compact licensure with multistate privileges
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented, efficient worker with ability to multitask
- Compassionate, dignified character which models recovery principles
Responsibilities
- Provide quality medical care for each client throughout admission, treatment and discharge
- Coordinate all pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and keep clear med logs
- Collaborate with extended medical, clinical and UR teams to ensure total coordination of care
- Maintain meticulous medical documentation, tracking and reporting for each client
- Provide patient education in individual and group settings
