About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Eagle Valley Meadows provides nursing care that promotes residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The role emphasizes building meaningful relationships by learning about residents’ life stories and supporting a comforting, engaging atmosphere. The nurse works collaboratively with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate care, promote teamwork, and provide excellent care to older adults. The position is full-time, with evening and night shifts listed as 2:00 PM–10:30 PM and 10:00 PM–6:30 AM.

Requirements

• Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
• Proficient medication management skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to support teamwork and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.

• Manage medications.
• Conduct thorough resident assessments and accurately document changes in condition.
