About The Position
Ampersand Therapy is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a part-time school-based role for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a great opportunity to support a wonderful school community in a meaningful, student-focused position. This role is a 1-1 position for students with diagnoses including holoprosencephaly, cerebral palsy, and a VNS seizure disorder. The role requires GT feeding, GT meds, and managing a VP shunt. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills and be fully committed to supporting student needs. Pediatric and school nurse experience is a plus. Fingerprinting, agency, and district onboarding are required prior to starting. The position requires an active Washington State LPN license or a compact LPN/LVN license.
Requirements
- Active Washington State LPN license or a compact LPN/LVN license.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Fully committed to supporting student needs.
- Ability to perform GT feeding and administer GT meds.
- Experience managing a VP shunt.
