About The Position

Premise Health is seeking a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse to work at the St. Jude's, powered by Premise Health located in Memphis, TN. This role offers a work-life-friendly schedule with flexible second-shift options, including approximately 12 PM–8 PM or 1 PM–9 PM, and the choice of 32 or 40 hours per week. Requirements

• Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited program, Associate's degree (A.S.) and/or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
• Currently Licensed as a Practical or Vocational Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
• At least three years of clinical experience as LPN/LVN in an ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department setting

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care and collaboration under the supervision of healthcare providers, and within scope of practice
• Performs and documents medical tasks to include medication administration wound care, observes reactions to treatments, and specimen collection such as urine, blood, and sputum based on provider orders
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Performs other duties as assigned
