Requirements

Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in good standing.
Certification in CPR, AED, and First Aid.
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English fluently.
Ability to meet or exceed the company’s attendance and punctuality standards.
Ability to use Electronic Records and miscellaneous software and office equipment.
Ability to understand and follow directions as given.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

Four year college or university degree desired.
1-2 years’ experience in a similar healthcare position preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs professional and restorative nursing services, including resident assessments, recording vital signs, and administering medications and treatments.
Maintains timely documentation of written and verbal reports to ensure quality care.
Interacts with the resident’s physician, pharmacist, and medical personnel as needed.
Assists residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility) following the guidelines in the Resident Care Plan.
Assists with in-service and on-the-job training and mentoring of Team Members.
Participates in and attends all required in-service training and education programs.
Other duties as assigned.
