About The Position

This role involves delivering direct, compassionate patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician, ensuring all actions are within the scope of the LPN/LVN license. The nurse will administer prescribed medications and treatments, meticulously observing and documenting patient responses. They will conduct focused patient assessments, monitor patient conditions, and provide comprehensive education to patients and families regarding their disease treatment plans, self-care, and post-discharge resources. Additionally, the role includes performing necessary laboratory tests and therapeutic services that contribute to the overall care plan.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Cross accepted.
Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
