About The Position

UW Medical Center - Montlake has an outstanding opportunity for a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Radiology team. PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Provide practical nursing care across radiology services (IR/NVIR, CT, MRI) within scope of practice, supporting safe, efficient patient flow and high-quality care delivery. Deliver direct patient care under RN direction, including medication administration, injections, phlebotomy, peripheral IV placement, and point-of-care testing Support pre- and post-procedure workflows: patient intake, education, preparation, and discharge instructions Room patients, obtain and document vital signs, complete medication reconciliation, and ensure readiness for procedures Assist with therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, maintaining sterile technique and anticipating provider needs Monitor patients and promptly report changes in condition, abnormal findings, or concerns to RN/provider SCHEDULE Full Time Day Shifts

Requirements

  • Current license to practice as a practical nurse in the State of Washington.
  • Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred; required within 3 months of hire
  • Experience in procedural, ambulatory, or acute care setting preferred
