About The Position
Helia Healthcare is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to provide practical nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing facility. The LPN works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and helps ensure residents receive safe, compassionate, high-quality care. The role also involves supporting and guiding Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) as part of a collaborative team culture.
Requirements
- Hold a current, valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in long-term care, acute care, or geriatrics.
- Supervisory experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on nursing care that meets resident needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Observe, document, and communicate changes in residents’ conditions.
- Assign and support CNA duties to help the shift run smoothly.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to support residents.
